Mooreast has announced plans to work with Sime Darby Joy Industries, a subsidiary of Sime Darby Berhad, to explore offshore-related business opportunities, including in renewable energy in Malaysia. Under a non-binding indicative term sheet between Mooreast’s subsidiary, Mooreast Asia Pte. Ltd, and Sime Darby Joy, the parties aim to develop and deliver products for offshore renewable energy, deep-sea offshore equipment and systems, and related services.
Germany acquires stake in TenneT’s German operations

TenneT Holding has reached an agreement with Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), acting on behalf of the German government, on the sale of a 25.1% stake in TenneT Germany. TenneT Holding will retain at least 28.9% of the shares in TenneT Germany.
Scottish Renewables appoints new directors to board

Scottish Renewables has announced the appointment of three new Directors to its Board. Selected by the organisation’s more than 380 member organisations, each Director will serve an initial term of three years. Susie Lind, Partner for Energy and Infrastructure at CMS UK, has been re-elected to the Board. She brings more than 20 years of experience across the energy and legal sectors and recently joined CMS UK as a Partner, having previously served as UK Managing Director of the Nadara BlueFloat Energy partnership.
Fugro to carry out geotechnical surveys for TotalEnergies NordSee Energies 1 offshore wind project in the North Sea

Fugro has been awarded a contract to conduct geotechnical surveys for the NordSee Energies 1 offshore wind project, which is being developed by TotalEnergies at the N-12.1 site in the North Sea. The project has a planned capacity of 2 GW. Fieldwork is already underway, with Fugro deploying five vessels to undertake survey activities around 170 kilometres off the German coast.
Tata Power Renewable Energy commissions 198 MW wind project in India

Tata Power Renewable Energy, the renewable energy subsidiary of Tata Power, has commissioned a 198 MW wind project in Karur, Tamil Nadu, India. The project will supply power to Tata Steel under a group captive model and comprises 55 wind turbine generators, each with a capacity of 3.6 MW.
Windward Offshore takes delivery of CSOV Windward Paris for offshore wind operations

Windward Offshore has taken delivery of its second commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV), Windward Paris. The vessel was built by Vard in Norway and will enter charter immediately to support construction activities at an offshore wind farm in the German Bight. Windward Paris is based on the Vard 4 19 design and is purpose built for offshore wind installation, commissioning and operations and maintenance work. The vessel has a length of 87.5 metres and a beam of 19.5 metres, with accommodation for up to 120 personnel.

Nordex to supply 189 MW of turbines for OX2 Fageråsen wind farm in Sweden

Nordex has secured an order from OX2 for the supply and installation of wind turbines at the Fageråsen wind farm in Sweden. The contract covers 27 N163/6.X turbines, each mounted on 119 metre tubular steel towers, with a combined installed capacity of 189 MW.
Iberdrola and Prysmian progress Eastern Green Link 4 interconnector between Scotland and England

Iberdrola, through its UK subsidiary SP Energy Networks, has awarded Prysmian a contract to supply the cable for the Eastern Green Link 4 submarine electricity interconnector. The project will create a new electricity connection between Fife in Scotland and Norfolk in England.
