Expanded Service: Hailo Training Centre and Web-Based Variants
With a fully equipped training tower at its Haiger site, Hailo Wind Systems has created the best possible conditions for safety training courses and exercises. Whether assembly training for ladder systems and service lifts, user training on ladder equipment, or tower and shaft rescue exercises, all training variants can now be offered under excellent conditions that are as close to real life as possible.
Safety officers from other industries and businesses, as well as wind turbine manufacturers, service companies, maintenance engineers and operators, can all take advantage of the practical training opportunities on offer in Haiger.
The training tower is fitted with all the ladder and safety features of a proper wind turbine. The very latest Hailo ladder systems for towers and buildings of all kinds have been installed, together with the current models of Hailo's service lifts, and components such as guard rails, platforms and accessories.
All Hailo ladder technology and safety training courses conform to the international standards and regulations. People who have been trained by Hailo are therefore able to use their knowledge internationally.
It was felt that services for the company’s international clientele (beyond production and on-site consultation) needed to be expanded. Hailo Wind Systems has therefore taken the decision to provide a Web-based variant. It offers its customers the possibility of completing the ‘Operating a Hailo service lift’ training modules 1 and 2 online. With this new service, the company now also provides its international customers with the option of completing training and acquiring the necessary licences without the need for travel.
