OX2 has sold the 96 MW Ansthall onshore wind farm in eastern Romania to Helleniq Renewables, a subsidiary of Helleniq Energy. The project includes 15 Vestas 6.4 MW turbines, with construction expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025. Commissioning is planned for 2027.
The wind farm has a 12-year virtual power purchase agreement in place with international retailer Ahold Delhaize, which will cover more than half of the project's electricity output. The agreement was originated and structured by OX2.
