LS Eco Advanced Cables (LSEAC), a joint venture between LS Group and Global Interconnector Group, has launched a five-week public consultation on its plans to build a high-voltage subsea cable manufacturing facility at the Port of Tyne. The cables would be used to transmit electricity generated by offshore wind farms to the UK mainland.

KK Wind Solutions, part of A.P. Moller, has officially opened a new factory and office in Bengaluru, India. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Eske Bo Knudsen Rosenberg, Consul General of Denmark in Bengaluru, alongside partners, customers, and members of the KK Wind Solutions global leadership team. The new site covers a total area of 24,000m², including a 17,000m² facility with 14,000m² dedicated to manufacturing and logistics and 3,000m² to office space. The remaining 7,000m² is landscaped around the factory.

MEASNET, the international network of wind energy measurement institutes, has confirmed the election of its Executive Board during its annual Council of Members meeting, held in April in Madrid, Spain. The board members were re-elected to continue in their roles: Monika Krämer as Chairwoman, Alejandro Martínez as Vice Chairman, and Íñigo López as Treasurer.

GEV specialises in inspection, monitoring, rope-access and maintenance services for both onshore and offshore wind turbines. GEV operates through regional hubs in North America, the UK and Europe, and Australia. It delivers over 300 projects each year, supported by a network of more than 500 specialist technicians. The company services wind turbines across four continents.
