Alpha Wind has completed its first offshore mission on the Saint-Nazaire wind farm to test its DragonSky blade pitch control system. The trials aimed to evaluate the system’s performance under real operating conditions.
According to the company, the tests confirmed the effectiveness of the DragonSky system and highlighted potential benefits for blade pitch management on the latest generation of offshore wind turbines. EDF Power Solutions supported the project by providing access to the site for validation purposes.
The DragonSky system is designed to optimise turbine performance through precise blade pitch control, contributing to improved energy capture and operational efficiency.
