Vattenfall has appointed Catrin Jung as Head of Business Area Wind, which covers the company’s offshore and onshore wind operations, as well as large-scale solar and battery projects. She will take up the role on 1 July, succeeding Helene Biström, who is leaving the company.
Jung is currently Head of Offshore Wind and has been with Vattenfall since 2002, following her engineering studies at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences. She has held a range of roles across the company, with a focus on market development and strategy. In her new role, she will report directly to Anna Borg and join the Executive Group Management team.
