Nexans has signed a framework agreement with Enedis for the supply of medium-voltage cables to support network modernisation and reinforcement across France. The cables will also support connections for renewable energy parks, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and line burial projects.
The contract runs for seven years from 2026 to 2032, including three optional years. It is valued at €600 million, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026. Cables will be manufactured mainly in France at the Bourg-en-Bresse site, with additional production capacity secured at the Battipaglia site in Italy.
