Nordex Group will supply and install 12 onshore turbines for the 58MW Drumnahough Wind Farm in County Donegal. The announcement follows confirmation by joint venture partners SSE and FuturEnergy Ireland earlier this month that pre-construction work has begun, with civil engineering planned to start in the coming weeks.

The project site lies in rural upland Donegal, about 13 kilometres from Letterkenny, within the townlands of Treankeel, Meenadaura, Carrickalangan and Cark. Nordex Group will provide its N133/4.8 turbines and will support turbine operation once the wind farm is commissioned under a long-term service agreement. Component deliveries are scheduled for early 2027, entering through Killybegs Harbour. Turbine installation at the site is expected to start later that year.
